It is known as Electric overhead crane. It is traveling over head at the workshop on the structure rail. The crane operates from electric power supply motor unit. Overhead crane to lift, move and position loads such as machinery, equipment’s, product, solid and bulk materials. The crane operates from a cabin where electric control panel, switch, levers are installed. Also, it operates from the ground by line control, radio remote control, and joystick transmitter control system. Main parts of overhead crane is- Runway or rails, Bridge, Bridge girder, Trolley hoist, Carriage, Travel drive, Electric equipment’s, control pendent etc.
